Cdr Warren Lockwood and crew penetrate the Grand Norway Island group to rescue 388th TFW pilot Capt C.L. Hambry, USAF, from the water. Capt Hambry's F-105D Thunderchief (#59-1761) was hit by AAA in the vicinity of Cam Pha, east of Haiphong. He was able to get "feet wet" before ejecting. |
